I've been involved in a 'stamp club' hosted by a Stampin' Up consultant for the last couple of years. Although they are not in the club right now, there were two amazing women, Angela & Marnie that were so much fun and so creative. Well, in keeping up with their blogs, I noticed they are part of http://dukedesigndivas.blogspot.com/ and they do monthly challenges. The challenge this month was to be inspired by gladiolas, so below is my take on the challenge, hope they like it. I used a stamp from one of my Unity KOM's for the sentiment, so I'm linking it up for the FWF Friday blog hop too :)
Oh my word! I'm so glad that you decided to take part in the challenge this month :) Your card is A-MAZ-ING! So bright and cheery and beautiful. I ♥ it! Love the combo of spring colours that you used. What did you use to make those flowers? Tissue paper? Ribbon? Totally miss Stamp Club and all the inspiration you guys gave me.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Marnie :)
ReplyDeleteI used plain white tissue paper, rubbed the stamp pads over top to colour, punched out circles, then smooshed them around the tip of a smooch bottle, dipped it in Modge Podge and stuck to the card.
What a clever card, love the creativity!

ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, and so very creative!
ReplyDeleteI love it. I would like to be part of a group that gets together monthly to make crafts, but everyone else is sooo busy. Have fun!

ReplyDeleteI love this card - so original...
ReplyDeleteMICHELLE!!! I love that you played along with this month's HCCC...and I LOVE this card! The flowers are a-ma-zing. I didn't have a gladiolus stamp and I was at a total loss for what to do. You, on the other hand, are brilliant and so creative and go and whip up your very own amazing flowers. I love it! I miss Stamp Club so much - it was so good to have a night out and be inspired and have fun. Sigh. The 'good ole days', eh? Anyways, thanks again for playing along. So good to see you here - I didn't even know you had a blog...so I'll totally be stalking you from now on :) Take care!!
